Privacy

Last updated 6 September 2026.

Without an account

The machine stores your project, your sounds and your settings (tips on or off, whether you have seen the tour) in your own browser. None of it is sent anywhere. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying you.

With an account

To keep your work between computers we store:

WhatWhy
Your email addressTo sign you in with a link and to reach you about your account. Never sold, never used for marketing.
Your handle and planTo name what you publish and to know your storage quota.
Your project and its last twenty versionsSo the machine can pull it wherever you sign in.
The sounds in your projectStored once by content, so two people who upload the same file share one copy.
Session cookiesTo keep you signed in for 90 days.

If you sign in with Google or GitHub we receive your email address and name from them and nothing else. We store no passwords because there are none.

Where

Everything is stored with Cloudflare (D1 for records, R2 for audio) and email is sent through Resend. Both are processors acting on our instructions.

Removing it

Delete your account from the account page. Your project, its versions, and every sound only you uploaded are removed immediately; backups age out within 30 days. You can download everything first as a .CHOPDECK file.
